How to Apply

How do I apply for an apartment?

You can apply online through our application portal. Click the 'Apply Now' button on our website and follow the step-by-step process. There are several questions on the application that ask about living habits and personality traits to assist with roommate matching.

Am I responsible for filling my unit?

No. In the event you do not have 3 other roommates in mind, we will match you as well as provide their names and contact information to connect.

Do you provide roommate matching?

Yes! There are several questions on the application that ask about living habits and personality traits that assist us in matching to the best of our ability.

Are co-ed units allowed?

No. All roommates within the unit are the same legal gender. However, the buildings themselves are a mix.

Move-In

What is the Activity Fee?

The Activity Fee is a one-time payment of $215 that gives our Resident Guests 24/7 access to our clubhouse amenities. This includes our gym, game room, computer lab, pool, and hot tub. We also have a tanning bed that can be used during office hours.

What is included in the utility package?

Water, sewer, gas, electric, trash, internet, and shuttle bus are all included. Cable is not included, but there are hook-ups in each room, as well as in the living room for those who are interested.

Where do our packages get sent?

All packages are delivered to the office and logged based on name and apartment number. The address is: 200 Campus View Drive, Altoona, PA 16601 + apartment number.

Move-Out

Do you offer summer stay or summer storage?

BOTH! Ask our management team for more information.

What happens when my lease ends?

Our management team will provide move-out instructions well in advance of your lease end date. This includes a checklist of items to complete before handing in your keys.

About the Property

Does the property have any security measures?

Yes! Elevate Altoona has an on-site security team that operates 7 days a week in addition to frequent drive-throughs by the local Logan Township Police. Each unit also has an emergency button in every bedroom, as well as right inside the front door that bypasses our security team and dispatches the police.

Do you provide internet?

Yes, internet is included in the utility package, but a router is required to enable wireless internet.

Is there on-site maintenance?

Yes! Our Building Services team operates during normal business hours, but they are available 24/7 for emergencies.

What if we have a roommate conflict?

Our management team is happy to sit with all guests from the unit in question and to work through their issues. If it is determined to be unresolvable, further steps may be taken.

Getting Around

Do you provide transportation to class?

Yes! A shuttle bus makes rounds every 15 minutes and drops off in the Hawthorne parking lot. This schedule is provided at move-in.
